Sock and glove

The other cute thing that I loved from Martha's show today is

Making a sock or glove doll a la Sock and Glove by Miyako Kanamori.

The demonstration looked deceptively easy. (See Martha's site for instructions). Easy enough I feel like I can raid my closet right now and make a cute customized doll. But I should know better, shouldn't I?

Knitted toys

From time to time, when working from home, I watch Martha Stewart while eating lunch. Today, they devoted the whole show to knitting and some of the things were just so cute that I had to feature them here. 

Here are some adorable toys from Mochimochi land:

I love how there are carrots and bunnies hidden in the ground in the 1st one and love how the mouse gets swallowed whole in the 2nd! Of course you can save the mouse by pulling it out again.
